Sake Coffee is made by soaking raw coffee beans in premium sake, allowing them to absorb its rich aroma before being carefully roasted. The result is a smooth, aromatic coffee with subtle sake notes.
The sake used is “Irodori”, a junmai ginjo crafted from 100% Yamada Nishiki rice by Izumibashi Sake Brewery in Kanagawa, Japan. Brewed using the traditional fukuro shibori method, it imparts a gentle sweetness, umami, and fruity aroma to the beans.
